I think that Lewis Hamilton is hungry again and Mclaren have some time to get that car into shape again. My picks for the Podium are Hamilton, Raikkonen and Mark Weber in no particular order. What a way to go to your 23rd birthday, smashing the world record in the 200 metres and again claiming the Sprint Double at the IAAF World Championships in Berlin. Just yesterday the former world record holder Michael Johnson was commenting on the fact that Usain was looking too tired to break another world record, it didn’t take him too long to put that one to bed, in fact it took him all of 19.19 seconds. And then there is the decider in the Ashes series starting tomorrow. Australia just need to force a draw to retain the Ashes, can England pull a rabbit out of the hat? A lightning Bolt in Berlin shattered the mark set by the previous Bolt of lightning that happened at the Olympics. Usain Bolt is a freak, apparently he needed only 33 strides down the track at Berlin’s Olympic Stadium and sliced the largest chunk off the world record since electronic timing was introduced, but insisted it was all just a fun day at the office. The talk is that this story will still be spoken about in years to come just likes Jesse Owens records in the same stadium over 70 years ago are still spoken about today |
